Workshop PROMOTING COOPERATION BETWEEN SMALL FOOD PRODUCERS AND THE HORECA SECTOR took place in Kuldiga, Latvia.
Participants were informed about the B2B local food distribution business model and handbook, results of operational plan and other project activities.
There were also discussions about cooperation between HoReCa and Kuldiga pilot region and other small food producers and farmers.
Practical solutions how to start cooperation were made and online google documents for further contacts and exchange of information for participants of workshop were created. Chefs provided tne list of vegetables and other farm products, which are currently not available in the market.
In total there was 19 participants from different sectors, like cooperative "Kuldīgas labumi" (Goods of Kuldiga; pilot partner), local food producers and farmers, HoReCa sector and consultants from Latvian Rural Advisory and Training Centre (LLKC).
